Privacy Policy

Your data stays yours

Hollie is designed so your personal data never touches our servers. Your contacts, interactions, notes, and relationship data are stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We cannot see, access, or sell your data.

What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• Apple ID identifier: A pseudonymous token provided by Apple when you use the app. We never see your email address or Apple ID credentials.
• Purchase information: Managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your payment details.
• Basic analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., which features are used most) to improve the app. This data cannot be tied to any individual user. You can opt out in Settings.

What we don't collect

• Your contacts, notes, or interaction logs
• Your location
• Your email address or phone number
• Any data you enter into the app

iCloud & CloudKit

All your data syncs through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This means your data is protected by Apple's privacy and security practices, encrypted in transit and at rest, and subject to Apple's own Privacy Policy.

Shared Spaces

When you share a Space with another person, the contacts in that Space become visible to the people you've invited — and only those people. Sharing is done through CloudKit's built-in sharing mechanism. We do not have access to shared data.

Apple Intelligence

Hollie uses on-device Apple Intelligence features (such as smart note parsing) to help you capture information faster. All processing happens locally on your device. No data is sent to external AI services.

Third-party services

Hollie does not integrate with any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services beyond Apple's own frameworks.

Data deletion

You can delete any contact, interaction, or Space at any time within the app. Deleting the app removes all local data. Data stored in iCloud can be managed through your iCloud account settings.

Children's privacy

Hollie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or on this page.
